Nathan Van Wymeersch joins the Construction management team
Scale is proud to announce the appointment of Nathan Van Wymeersch as Co-Head of the Dutch-speaking team within the Construction practice group, effective as of 7 July 2026. In this role, he joins Els Op de Beeck in leading the practice group and will help shape the further growth and development of our construction practice.
Nathan has been a key member of the team for many years. Through his pragmatic and personal approach, he advises clients on complex construction matters and contributes daily to the practice group's excellent reputation.
Benjamin Marchandise continues to lead the French-speaking team within the Construction practice group. In addition, Jens Rediers remains, as partner, head of the International Construction Contracts practice group, where he supports clients on international construction and infrastructure projects.
With this strengthened structure, Scale brings together a first-rate team with complementary expertise, fully equipped to support clients in addressing the current and future challenges of complex construction projects.

new chapter for Marco Schoups
Almost ten years ago, Marco Schoups initiated a transition that continues to take shape today.
Last summer, Marco stepped down from his role as partner at Scale and took on a new role as mediator, arbitrator and lecturer. He has since informed us that he will be leaving the firm in the foreseeable future to dedicate himself fully to these activities.
We are grateful to Marco for all he has contributed to the firm and wish him all the best for the next chapter of his professional career.
