Belgian legislator complies with European UBO jurisprudence: legitimate interest required for access to UBO register

The European Court of Justice held that the broad accessibility to the public of data in the national UBO register is disproportionate. As a result, the FPS Finance had temporarily blocked access by the general public to the Belgian UBO register, pending an amendment of the law. This amendment is now a fact.
