Since 1 January 2025, a new ban applies to subcontractors in the construction sector. As previously discussed in our newsletter of 31 July 2024, a subcontractor who takes on works from a main contractor, in turn, may no longer fully subcontract those works to one or more other subcontractors, nor may he merely retain coordination of those works.
