As indicated in our news release of 17 December 2024, the new legislation requiring contractors to check the identification data, residence and work permits of staff and self-employed workers of foreign subcontractors would be delayed. Indeed, the originally proposed date of 1 January 2025 proved neither desirable nor feasible.
