Many sectors (public transport, Bpost, healthcare, education and even some shops and public services) are on strike today. During the coming months, several more strikes are expected at the Belgian railways. In doing so, the (railway) unions oppose the measures on pensions announced in the federal coalition agreement, as well as, specifically, the planned cuts at “NMBS” [the National Railway Company of Belgium].
Belgian train traffic is thus expected to be severely disrupted on these strike days. What does this mean for your employees ?
