Expertise: Real estate and project development

We have built up years of practical experience in all aspects of real estate law.

Approach

We provide multidisciplinary assistance for real estate-related transactions, including the purchase, sale, development, and operation of real estate. We have also developed extensive practice and experience in the field of commercial law.

We successfully guide project developers and real estate investors in residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed projects. We provide complete and integrated assistance, from devising the most optimal structuring to the full implementation thereof.

Our practice extends, among other things, to:
• advising on the acquisition of real estate (negotiating and drafting purchase-sale agreements, option agreements, private agreements, (basic) deeds, multidisciplinary due diligence, …) as well as handling disputes regarding this (dissolution, hidden defects, …).
• advising on building and leasehold rights, easements, and mortgage and other securities
• advising on (structures regarding) co-ownership to project developers, VME’s, individual co-owners, syndics, …
• conceptualising and setting up ‘tailor made’ legal structures in the context of project developments
• advising on the regulatory framework regarding project development (sustainable building, …)
• negotiating and drafting agreements regarding project development
